September 2020

The 6th graders made this for September 11th- Dallin's teacher sent me the picture.

On September 21st, Jared got a new job, and a new truck!  His old project manager, Art at Kier, had started a new job with a company called Campbell Construction, and he had been telling Jared that he wanted to get him on over there as soon as they were hiring. Well, as soon as they started looking for a superintendent, Art told them about Jared and they told Art to let him know that he was hired. Jared insisted on an interview so he could meet the team first, haha, and he absolutely loved them! Kier Construction was NOT happy when he put in his notice! He was assigned to a project in Saratoga Springs, so his commute went from an hour and 15 minutes to 10 minutes!! So exciting! Campbell gives him a monthly truck allowance, so he bought this truck before he began over there. His new job is SOOOOO much less stressful than his old one and he loves it!

Playing Trash with Nolan.

The love of Teya's life

That's Dallin up there on the left, #16. He LOVES football so much more than I ever expected him to!

His cousin Andrew and wife Vanessa came to his game in Orem since they live nearby.

Fishing in Lehi.

Fishing with my client Cameron. There was an older teen there who helped us out with some weights on our line and then invited us to fish in his spot with him. (It was a public, open area).  He was so so sweet at trying hard to help Cameron catch a fish, sharing his bait with us, etc.- I love these kind boys in Utah!

Teya did a dance camp with Westlake Highschool and got to perform at halftime during a game!

I got my eybrows done! Microblading doesn't work on me, so I had powderfill done this time and they looked AMAZING!!!!!!!  Unfortunately they didn't stick either, so my journey with tatood eyebrows has come to a close...

Do you think we love our dogs?

I helped my client Caitlin get a library card! Gosh I love my job!

Frisbee golf with client Cameron. This is a pretty regular activity for us.

Dallin is in charge of mowing our lawn and was very excited about the new mower!

Tucker is forever getting up on the table looking for food. So we sometimes leave him up there for a long time to try and teach him a lesson. It hasn't worked.

Nolan, Dallin and I on a bike and scooter ride down the Jordan River Trail.

When we got back to our truck, we did some fishing in the Jordan River. We haven't had ANY luck catching a fish, but we still love it!

So another part of this Covid school experience was that if someone at school got Covid, they had to notify the school. Then the school would call the families of all kids who sat around the infected student, and those kids would have to quarantine at home for 2 weeks. One day I got the call that Teya had been exposed to an infected student and had to go into quarantine! Turns out she had been exposed a whole week before the school found out, so she only had to quarantine for a week. It is not big deal having her home since she can do all of her school work online on her own. This day we decided to go on a bike ride and have a picnic. We rode down the Jordan River trail for NINE miles up and nine miles back!  We had such a great time and were so impressed with ourselves!!

When I went to take this selfie of us, I was shocked at how horrible I looked, which made Teya laugh so hard. Love this picture of her!

Teya took this awesome picture of Rue while we were fishing in Lehi and we have used it a ton for marketing purposes! She went into her second heat this month! We had her first progesterone test done on September 29th to see if she was ready to breed, but her levels weren't quite high enough, so we tested her again 2 days later (it's a blood test). I'll write about all of that in next month's post!
