On September 7th, 2020, we drove a few hours southeast to Sevier County, UT. We stayed at a "resort" (a very old, outdated motel that suited our needs just fine) at Big Rock Candy Mountain. I had looked up places to go white water rafting in Utah and this place came up in my search! It wasn't too expensive to do the white water rafting or any of the other activities there, so we booked it for the weekend! We had SUCH a great time and were already talking about our next trip there before we left. It was VERY rural and there were no other restaurants, stores, etc. anywhere nearby, just FYI. Next time we plan to stay in the Caboose Village and rent Razors to ride around in.

| This was our first long drive in our new van- this is Nolan and Dallin enjoying the recliner like middle seats that Jared searched high and low for! |

| The first night, we floated down the river on tubes. |
| We checked out the Coboose Village down the road- it is a bunch of old train cars that have been converted into motel rooms that you can stay in! They were all booked when I looked into it, but next time we plan on staying here! (This one is an empty one not being used). |

Caboose Village behind them.

| We went on a horse ride! This was by far all of our favorite thing we did, we LOVED it and wished we had chosen the longer option. (We rode for 1-2 hours). |
| We ate each night at the restaurant attached to our hotel. |
| Teya, Dallin and I ventured out to Freemont Indian State Park and went on this 1/2 mile hike to 100 Hands Cave. It was 101 degrees out and a certain someone in the group was NOT happy about this. |
| One hilarious thing that Teya and I got a lot of good laughs out of: the hotel room had one king size bed and one pull out couch bed, so Jared and the boys slept on the bed and Teya and I slept on the pull out bed. Teya and I were SO. UN. COMFORTABLE!!! We woke up several times during the night and in the morning, I woke up with my hip aching and Teya's shoulder was killing her. We kept laughing so hard talking about how awful it was! The next time we put the mattress directly on the floor, hoping that would help, BUT IT DID NOT. We again woke up with various parts of our bodies aching. |
| White water rafting down the Sevier River! It was so fun!! Not as wild as we expected since the water was a little low, but still a blast. |
| Jared took the kids to tour Butch Cassidy's house while I took a nap. |
