Our kayaks!

We went to Tibble Fork up American Fork Canyon to ride out kayaks in the reservoir. It was SO SO beautiful!!! It was a little too cold to jump in and swim and the parking is impossible but it was bigger than other reservoirs we have been too and by far the most beautiful- we loved it!!

Megan and I kayaked down the Jordan River in Lehi. It was so peaceful and pretty and we had a great time! We got a little nervous at the end though as the sun dropped quickly and we still hadn't reached our exit point, but we did make it out of the water before it was totally dark.

Jared was thrilled to have to drive out to American Fork and jump the van. The kids and I had gone in to the sporting store there and the battery died while we were inside...

Teya got braces!!

Lindsay and her family came to visit!

Lindsay and Teya made this lemon cake that took a few days! And look at that cute baby in Lindsay's arms!!  I could eat him up!!!

Nolan thought something smelled when he was loading the dishwasher so he took care of it...

We celebrated by swimming at the Lehi Outdoor pool with some of his friends- Manti, Tanner, Marquis, Kyson and Easton.

Football season began...

Teya and me out on kayaks at Blackridge Resevoir in Herriman. Nolan, Teya and I went that night. On our way home, we were discussing why Jared doesn't love kayaking as much as the rest of us, and I said that he doesn't jump in the water, which is the best part. Nolan said, matter of fact, "It's because he doesn't like to take his shirt off. Because he has a big tummy. And he has hair on his nipples." OH. MY. GOSH. Teya and I DIED laughing!!!!!  It is one of our favorite family quotes still a year later!!

Sinus pressure

The three of us went on a bike ride by Utah Lake one evening.

The path ended at this fence, which ran along side a house. You can see that the fire came right up to this fence and charred it, as well as the land behind it. Miracles truly took place during the Knoll's Fire!!  Unbelievable that no houses were destroyed!!!
