Concrete and Teya's First Day of School (Again!)

I can't handle how cute they are... (These are both from our trip to St. George).

We finally got the concrete poured!  We now have an extra driveway on the side of the house, with steps Nancy can take down to her door around back.
We also put in a side walk to her door, a sidewalk on the other side of the house going into the backyard, and concrete behind the house for seating and a fire pit.

We also widened our driveway and put in the basketball hoop that Dallin has been wanting for years!  (It's the same one our neighbor has, Dallin likes that it can lower to 5 feet so he can dunk).

Date night at Cubby's.  This is when Jared introduced me to THE BEST FRIES IN THE WORLD!!!

Teya's school was supposed to be ready two weeks after school began, but the fire marshall did not grant them certificate of occupancy, so we just waited to hear from them.  Finally, two weeks later, one Monday afternoon in September, (September 17th) we received emails and calls from the school saying that the school would open tomorrow and there was a last minute open house that night!  Teya did NOT enjoy online school and was very ready and excited to start back to actual school with her friends!

Jared was cracking me up because he was pointing out all of the things that the contractor still needed to finish in the school.  (The school was still not finished at this point, but it was close enough that the fire marshal allowed school to start).

Lake Mountain Middle School- Go Warriors!  (By the way, the schools out here are MASSIVE!!!  It's at least 4 times the size of my jr. high)!!

We aren't supposed to drive the kids to school because some of the roads leading up to it aren't finished and they don't want to clog up the residential streets leading into it, but since it would be about a half hour walk for Teya (uphill coming home), we planned for me to drop her off at her friend Abby's house every morning, who lives pretty close to the new school.  This is Teya's closest friend the past couple of years.

Rue just keeps on growing!

While we wait at Melanie and Brian's house every Thursday for each kid to have their piano lesson, the boys often play with Logan.

My client Marlow was going to be playing in the Special Olympics football game for BYU against the Logan Special Olympics team, so his mom had us practicing football together everyday.  (I have been only working with him since I came back from taking the summer off, which is fine with me because he is my favorite, although I do miss a couple of my other clients a little bit).  She specifically asked me to work on catching with him, but since I know nothing about football skills, I asked a couple of my neighbors, who are both football coaches, if they would be interested in meeting up with us one day and working with him on catching.  They both wanted to do it, so we met up at a park one Friday.  They had a blast with him!

Playing games with Mimi and Papa the night before they left.  They were here from May-September!

Of course there was a "group-hug" before leaving!
