One Sunday after church we drove out to where my parents were camp hosting and stayed the night with them. The kids loved their golf cart.
On Monday we went out and watched the Sheepdog sheephearding contest, it was very cool!! We also watched a dog jumping contest that was fun.
That night we stopped by the Swiss Days event that was nearby. I've always wanted to go, and this was perfect because we got there about an hour before it closed so it wasn't packed like it normally is. I only got Teya and Dallin some Jandals.
I brought the boys some legos to entertain them in the RV.
Kennecot Copper Mines
One good thing about my parents being out here is that they are always in tourist mode and got us out to do things I'd been meaning to do for years! They arranged for us to go to the Kennecot Mines one day. We had to take a bus out there from the visitor's center, so there are a couple of pics on the bus. I wish this one of Nolan and me came out more clearly, it's so cute!
I started back to work when the kids went back to school (except Teya's school wasn't ready on time, so I felt bad that I had to leave her at home to do homeschool while I worked, but it was only for about 3 hours at a time). When I work with Marlow, we always go work out at the American Fork Rec Center.
Marlow and I also went over to this art museum that has these kinds of pictures on the walls and the public is allowed to come paint them in with paint markers. It was so fun that I decided to bring Teya a few days later.
Our neighbors took all of the 8th grade girls in the neighborhood, who are all doing online school while they wait for the school to be finished, boating one day!!! Man, home school is ROUGH!!
Ping-pong at Uncle Brian and Melanie's. All three kids have started taking piano from Melanie so this is them playing while Nolan had his lesson.
Jared breaking up concrete under our deck to put down new concrete. (He's letting Manti give it a try here).
The boys helped haul away the old concrete in our tractor. We are so lucky to have the open space behind us where we can dump things!
Dallin started playing football! He didn't like practices at first because he wasn't used to being thrown to the ground, but after a short while, he LOVED it! And look at that ridiculously gorgeous backdrop!!!! Where do I live?!?
Another trip to the Provo Rec Center!
