Lots of fun stuff happened in August!

 Went to Provo Rec Center with the Bauers for the first time and loved it!  We went back again a week or two later.

 

 Tucker LOOOOVES me and loves to snuggle me.

 Teya threw a surprise birthday party for her closest friend Abby.

 Found them both sound asleep like this.

 Jared got a scoop for the front of our tractor and we have put it to good use!

  Hanging out in Teya's room and chatting.  I need to do this more often, she LOVES it!!

 Niece Amy got married!!!

 

 We all had dinner and played games at Brian and Melanie's one night while Keith, Becky and Andrew were in town.

 Since Teya's school was online, she was free to go on a hike to the Timpanogos Caves with us!  I've been wanting to do this for years!!  It was a LONG hour and a half hike up to the caves, and the caves were awesome!  The hike down hurt my knees so badly that I couldn't even sleep that night because my knees were aching so badly!!  LOTS of pictures of the hike below!

   

  

  

 

 

 

 

  

 On the way back down, Teya and I got ahead of my parents, but then I realized we needed to keep going so I could get him in time for the boys to get home from school.  So I asked some strangers who were on their way up the trail, if when they saw my parents, they would tell them I had to hurry home for the boys.  They got their description and my name and said they would tell them.  Well when they saw my parents, they decided to have a little fun with them and stopped them and said, "Can we ask you a question?  We are going to have a baby girl and are trying to decide on a name and are asking strangers for their opinion on names.  We really like the name Happy, what do you think of that?"  Of course my parents were SHOCKED and couldn't believe it and told them, "Oh my gosh, our daughter's name is Happy!!!!!"  They told them what it was like for me growing up with that name, until the people finally told them they were just kidding, that they had met me further down on the trail and wanted them to tell them I had to go on home.  It was pretty darn funny!!

We went to the Lehi outdoor pool another day with the Bauers.  Nolan went off the high dive for the first time.

 Nolan LOVES to fix things and try and figure out how things work or go together, just like Jared.  So when Jared needed to take the toaster oven apart to clean it, he asked Nolan if he wanted to do it with him and of course Nolan was game!
